The Stranger - Harlan Coben

I'm recently getting into more crime thrillers - this was a perfect novel for someone who was put off by them. I watched the netflix series before I read the book so I knew basic understanding of what was going to happen - however the novel is also amazing. 

This was a really good story, left you trying to work out what had happened the whole time, where is his wife, why has she really disappeared. 

A dad of two boys named Adam is approached at a lacrosse game by a stranger, who exposes that his wife Corinne has faked a pregnancy. After he confronts her, she leaves the family home and doesn't return - but where has she gone as more peoples secrets are revealed and more no one knows where Corinne is. The ending has some different aspects to the netflix drama. 

A solid 4 out of 5 stars. 

I will for sure be looking into more of Coben's novels.
